Ingredients

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (21 ounces) lemon pie filling
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread lemon pie filling in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a separate bowl, combine softened cream cheese, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture over the lemon pie filling.
- Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the cream cheese mixture.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool before serving.
Notes
- You can add a layer of fresh lemon slices on top before baking.
- Serve warm or cold.
- Garnish with whipped cream or lemon zest.
