Delicious cranberry orange fall bars. Perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) cold unsalted butter, cut into cubes
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fresh cranberries, chopped
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, and salt.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Press half of the mixture into a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a separate bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, orange juice, and zest.
- Spread cranberry mixture over the crust.
- Crumble remaining oat mixture over the cranberry layer.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes.
- Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
- For a sweeter bar, add more sugar to the cranberry filling.
- Use a parchment paper sling for easy removal.
- Store bars in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
