Description

Easy no-bake Christmas Oreo Balls covered in chocolate and decorated for the holidays. These festive treats are perfect for parties and cookie exchanges.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 24 Oreo cookies
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
  • Christmas sprinkles, for decorating

Instructions

  1. Crush Oreo cookies into fine crumbs.
  2. In a bowl, mix Oreo crumbs and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  4. Place balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Chill balls for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Melt chocolate chips and shortening in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  7. Dip each chilled ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated.
  8. Place coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Immediately add Christmas sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  10. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or until the chocolate is firm.

Notes

  • For a smoother chocolate coating, add a little more shortening.
  • You can use milk or white chocolate instead of semi-sweet.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
