Description

This recipe makes ultra-creamy beef and shells in a slow cooker.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces shell pasta
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Drain fat.
  2. Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cook on low for 3-4 hours or on high for 1.5-2 hours.
  4. Stir in uncooked pasta. Cook on low for 30-45 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
  5. Stir in cream cheese and cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.

  • You can add other vegetables, like bell peppers.
