- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan.
- Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- While the turkey is roasting, prepare the cranberry orange sauce.
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, orange juice, sugar, and orange zest.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries have burst and the sauce has thickened.
- Let the turkey rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Serve the sliced turkey with the cranberry orange sauce.
Notes
- For a crispier skin, you can increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 15 minutes of roasting.
- Adjust the sugar in the sauce to your preference.
