Description

Easy and festive Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cake truffles. These no-bake treats combine the classic flavor of Christmas Tree Cakes with a creamy truffle center, all dipped in chocolate. Perfect for holiday parties and homemade gifts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (10.6 oz) Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening
  • Optional: Green and red sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Crumble the Christmas Tree Cakes in a large bowl, removing any thick frosting.
  2. Add the softened cream cheese to the crumbled cakes. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
  3. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable shortening in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth.
  5. Dip each frozen truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated.
  6. Place the dipped truffles back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. If desired, immediately add sprinkles before the chocolate sets.
  8. Refrigerate until the chocolate is firm.

Notes

  • Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened for easy mixing.
  • If the mixture is too sticky, you can add a tablespoon or two of powdered sugar.
  • For a different flavor, you can use milk chocolate or dark chocolate for dipping.
