A quick and easy one-pan meal with ground beef, rice, and classic taco flavors.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1.5 cups water
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- 1 (15 ounce) can black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Optional toppings: sour cream, chopped cilantro, diced tomatoes, avocado
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a skillet. Drain any excess grease.
- Add onion and cook until softened.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water.
- Bring to a boil, then add rice.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in black beans and salsa.
- Top with cheese and cook until melted.
- Serve with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of taco seasoning to your taste.
- You can use any type of rice you prefer. Cooking time may vary.
- For extra flavor, add a can of diced tomatoes and green chilies.
