A delicious and easy dump cake recipe featuring strawberries and pineapple.
Ingredients

- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 container (16 ounces) strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cut into thin slices
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the crushed pineapple with its juice into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the sliced strawberries over the pineapple.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the strawberries.
- Place the thin slices of butter on top of the cake mix.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the cake is set.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can use fresh or frozen strawberries. If using frozen, do not thaw.
- For extra flavor, add a teaspoon of vanilla extract to the pineapple.
- Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
