Description

Easy steak and potatoes cooked in foil packets. Perfect for oven or grill.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb potatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Optional: butter, herbs


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare grill for medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine steak, potatoes, onion, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cut large sheets of foil.
  4. Divide the steak and potato mixture among the foil sheets.
  5. Add butter and herbs if desired.
  6. Seal the foil packets tightly.
  7. Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or grill for 20-30 minutes, until potatoes are tender and steak is cooked.
  8. Carefully open the packets and serve.
