Ingredients

- 1 lb steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 lb potatoes, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Optional: butter, herbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare grill for medium heat.
- In a bowl, combine steak, potatoes, onion, olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Cut large sheets of foil.
- Divide the steak and potato mixture among the foil sheets.
- Add butter and herbs if desired.
- Seal the foil packets tightly.
- Bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or grill for 20-30 minutes, until potatoes are tender and steak is cooked.
- Carefully open the packets and serve.
