This is a delicious and easy sour cream banana bread recipe.

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugars.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with sour cream, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
- Gently fold in mashed bananas.
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- You can add chocolate chips or nuts.
- Make sure your bananas are very ripe.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
