These Snowman Oreo Balls are a fun and festive no-bake Christmas treat. They combine crushed Oreos with cream cheese, then are shaped, dipped in white chocolate, and decorated to look like adorable snowmen. Perfect for holiday parties and cookie exchanges.

- 36 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon vegetable shortening (optional, for smoother melting)
- Black edible marker or black decorating gel
- Orange edible marker or orange decorating gel
- Red sprinkles or small candies for scarves (optional)
Instructions
- Place crushed Oreos in a large bowl. Add softened cream cheese and mix until well combined and a dough forms.
- Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1-inch in diameter. You should get about 18-20 balls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Chill the Oreo balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or until firm.
- Melt the white chocolate chips with vegetable shortening (if using) in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Alternatively, melt using a double boiler.
- Dip each chilled Oreo ball into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Use a fork to lift the balls out, letting excess chocolate drip back into the bowl.
- Place the coated balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Before the chocolate hardens completely, use the black edible marker to draw eyes and a mouth on each snowman. Use the orange marker to draw a carrot nose.
- If desired, add red sprinkles or small candies around the neck area to resemble a scarf.
- Allow the chocolate to set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
Notes
- Ensure the cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the mixture.
- For easier dipping, insert a toothpick into each Oreo ball before dipping, then remove the toothpick and fill the hole with a little melted chocolate once the ball is back on the parchment paper.
- Store the finished Snowman Oreo Balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
