Quick and easy smashburger quesadillas. A simple recipe for a delicious meal.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions. Flatten each portion into a thin patty. Season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat. Place patties in the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned and cooked through.
- Remove patties from skillet. While the skillet is still warm, place one tortilla in it.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar cheese and half of the Monterey Jack cheese over the tortilla.
- Place a cooked beef patty on top of the cheese.
- Fold the tortilla in half.
- Cook quesadilla for 2-3 minutes per side, until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Remove from skillet and cut into wedges. Repeat with remaining tortillas, cheese, and beef.
- Melt butter in the skillet between quesadilla batches if needed.
Notes
- Serve with your favorite toppings like salsa, sour cream, or avocado.
