Description

Tender chicken cooked in a slow cooker with zesty lemon and garlic.


Ingredients

  • Chicken breasts: 1.5 lbs
  • Lemon: 2, juiced and zested
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Chicken broth: 1 cup
  • Olive oil: 1 tbsp
  • Dried oregano: 1 tsp
  • Salt: to taste
  • Black pepper: to taste


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker.
  2. In a bowl, mix lemon juice, zest, garlic, chicken broth, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour mixture over chicken.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Shred chicken with a fork.
  6. Serve and enjoy!
