Description
Tender chicken cooked in a slow cooker with zesty lemon and garlic.
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts: 1.5 lbs
- Lemon: 2, juiced and zested
- Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
- Chicken broth: 1 cup
- Olive oil: 1 tbsp
- Dried oregano: 1 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Black pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in slow cooker.
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, zest, garlic, chicken broth, olive oil, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Pour mixture over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred chicken with a fork.
- Serve and enjoy!
