Description

This slow cooker creamy broccoli cheese soup is easy to make. It’s perfect for a cozy dinner.


Ingredients

  • Broccoli florets: 4 cups
  • Carrots: 1 cup, chopped
  • Onion: 1, chopped
  • Chicken broth: 4 cups
  • Cream cheese: 8 oz
  • Cheddar cheese: 2 cups, shredded
  • Milk: 1 cup
  • Butter: 2 tbsp
  • Salt and pepper: to taste


Instructions

  1. Melt butter in a pan. Sauté onion and carrots until softened.
  2. Add broccoli, chicken broth, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker.
  3. Cook on low for 4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  4. Stir in cream cheese until melted.
  5. Add cheddar cheese and milk. Stir until cheese is melted.
  6. Season to taste.

  • You can add cooked chicken for extra protein.
