- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup salsa
- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, avocado
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
- Pour in chicken broth and salsa.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
- Shred chicken with two forks.
- Serve in taco shells with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- You can use frozen chicken breasts.
- Adjust the amount of taco seasoning to your taste.
- For spicier tacos, use hot salsa.
