Ingredients

- 6 cups peeled and cubed potatoes
- 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup butter, cut into pieces
Instructions
- Place potatoes, soup, sour cream, onion, salt, and pepper in slow cooker.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the cheese and butter.
- Cook until cheese is melted and butter is melted.
- Top with remaining cheese before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on your slow cooker.
- You can add other vegetables, like diced bell peppers.
- For a spicier dish, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
