Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in slow cooker.
  2. Pour in BBQ sauce, chicken broth, and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until chicken is cooked through.
  5. Shred chicken with two forks.
  6. Serve in meal prep bowls with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For spicier chicken, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
