A simple and delicious tater tot casserole.

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (10 ounce) can diced tomatoes and green chilies, undrained
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 (30 ounce) bag frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain any grease.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup and diced tomatoes and green chilies.
- Pour mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
- Arrange tater tots on top.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until tater tots are golden brown.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for ground beef.
- Add other vegetables like corn or peas.
- Use different cheeses.
