Ingredients

  • 1 box of your favorite cheesecake mix
  • Ingredients listed on the cheesecake mix box
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • Churro dough (recipe below)


Instructions

  1. Prepare the cheesecake according to the box instructions.
  2. Make the churro dough.
  3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or pot to 350°F (175°C).
  4. Pipe or drop churro dough into the hot oil. Fry until golden brown.
  5. Remove churros and place on a paper towel-lined plate.
  6. Combine sugar and cinnamon. Toss churros in the mixture.
  7. Let the cheesecake cool.
  8. Top cheesecake with churros.
