Description

A delicious and easy shrimp rice bowl recipe.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Green onions, chopped, for garnish


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  2. Add the shrimp to the marinade and let it sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Cook the shrimp in a pan over medium-high heat until pink and cooked through.
  4. Divide the cooked rice into bowls.
  5. Top with the cooked shrimp and some of the marinade.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

  • You can add your favorite vegetables.
  • Adjust the spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
  • Serve immediately.
