Description

A quick and easy stir-fry with shrimp and asparagus.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound asparagus, trimmed
  • 1 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add asparagus and mushrooms to the wok and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes, until tender-crisp.
  4. Add garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
  5. Return shrimp to the wok.
  6. Add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine.
  7. Season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • You can add other vegetables, like bell peppers or broccoli.
  • Adjust the amount of soy sauce and oyster sauce to your taste.
  • Serve over rice or noodles.
