Description

Simple and savory roasted sweet potatoes seasoned to perfection. A healthy and delicious side dish.


Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the cubed sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the seasoned sweet potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Roast for 25-30 minutes, or until tender and slightly caramelized, flipping halfway through.
  5. Serve hot.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • You can substitute rosemary or thyme for some of the other spices.
