Ingredients
- Sourdough Discard: 1 cup
- Butter: 1/2 cup, melted
- Granulated Sugar: 1 cup
- Brown Sugar: 1/2 cup
- Eggs: 2 large
- Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon
- Cocoa Powder: 1/2 cup
- Flour: 1/2 cup
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Baking Soda: 1/4 teaspoon
- Salted Caramel: (store-bought or homemade) for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix melted butter, sugars, and eggs.
- Stir in vanilla and sourdough discard.
- Whisk in cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking soda.
- Pour batter into a greased pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Let cool, then top with salted caramel.
