Classic Salisbury Steak recipe.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)
Instructions
- Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Form into patties.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Brown patties.
- Remove patties.
- Add mushrooms (optional) and cook.
- Whisk flour into pan.
- Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
- Simmer until thickened.
- Return patties to pan.
- Cook until heated through.

- Serve with mashed potatoes.
- Adjust seasoning to your taste.
