Description

Classic Salisbury Steak recipe.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (optional)


Instructions

  1. Mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form into patties.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Brown patties.
  5. Remove patties.
  6. Add mushrooms (optional) and cook.
  7. Whisk flour into pan.
  8. Add beef broth and Worcestershire sauce.
  9. Simmer until thickened.
  10. Return patties to pan.
  11. Cook until heated through.
