Ingredients

  • 1 (3-5 pound) whole boneless turkey breast, skin on
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, and garlic powder.
  4. Rub the herb and oil mixture all over the turkey breast, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
  5. Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan or oven-safe skillet. If using a bag, place it inside the bag according to package instructions.
  6. Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast registers 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the turkey breast rest for 10-15 minutes before carving.

  • For extra crispy skin, you can increase the oven temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 15-20 minutes of roasting, watching carefully to prevent burning.
  • Basting the turkey breast with its own juices every 30 minutes can help keep it moist.
