- 1 cup pecan halves
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine flour, softened butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until crumbly.
- Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan to form the crust.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
- Stir in the pecan halves into the brown sugar mixture.
- Pour the pecan mixture evenly over the crust.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the center is set and the edges are golden brown.
- Let cool completely in the pan before cutting into bars.
