Description

A simple and delicious dump cake with pineapple and coconut flavors.


Ingredients

  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can cream of coconut
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into thin slices


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pour the crushed pineapple (undrained) into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Pour the cream of coconut over the pineapple.
  4. Sprinkle the yellow cake mix evenly over the pineapple mixture.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded coconut over the cake mix.
  6. Place the thin slices of butter evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown and the cake is set.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • You can substitute the yellow cake mix with a white cake mix.
