Description

A festive and fun Christmas pizza shaped like a wreath, perfect for holiday gatherings and parties.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1/4 cup black olives, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Optional: Cherry tomatoes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough into a large circle on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  6. Arrange the red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and black olives on top of the cheese to create a festive design.
  7. Fold the border of the dough inwards to create a crust all around.
  8. Brush the crust with olive oil and sprinkle with oregano.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. If using, arrange cherry tomatoes around the wreath for extra color.
  11. Let cool slightly before slicing into festive pizza pieces.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit any meat toppings.
  • Ensure all vegetables are chopped into small, uniform pieces for even cooking.
  • You can use different colored bell peppers for a more vibrant wreath.
  • Consider adding small cookie cutters to create decorative shapes from leftover dough to place on top.
