- 6 ripe peaches, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Place the sliced peaches in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the peaches.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
- Let it cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
- You can substitute nectarines for peaches.
- For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free oats and flour.
