Simple one-pan chicken breasts with a creamy Dijon sauce.

- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
- Add onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and Dijon mustard. Whisk to combine.
- Return chicken breasts to the skillet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- You can add mushrooms or other vegetables.
- Serve with rice, pasta, or vegetables.
