Description

Simple one-pan chicken breasts with a creamy Dijon sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  5. Add onion to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  6. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in chicken broth, heavy cream, and Dijon mustard. Whisk to combine.
  8. Return chicken breasts to the skillet.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley.
