- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup dulce de leche or caramel sauce
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon hot water
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips, melted
- 1/2 cup graham cracker crumbs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Press graham cracker crumbs into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Add melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix well.
- Beat in eggs one at a time.
- Stir in heavy cream.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan.
- Swirl in dulce de leche over the batter.
- Mix cocoa powder with hot water to form a paste.
- Drizzle the chocolate paste and melted chocolate over the dulce de leche.
- Pour the remaining batter over the swirls.
- Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until the edges are set and the center is slightly jiggly.
- Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside with the door ajar for 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and cool completely on a wire rack.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a smoother swirl, warm the dulce de leche slightly.
- Ensure all ingredients are at room temperature for the best texture.
- Do not overmix the batter after adding eggs.
