Description

Ingredients

  • 12 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • Paprika, for garnish


Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat, cover, and let stand for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Drain eggs and rinse with cold water. Peel eggs and slice in half lengthwise.
  3. Remove yolks and place them in a small bowl. Mash yolks with a fork.
  4. Add mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper to the mashed yolks. Mix until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  6. Garnish with paprika. Serve chilled.

Notes

  • For a creamier filling, add an extra tablespoon of mayonnaise.
  • Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a little heat.
  • Chop fresh chives or parsley and sprinkle on top for extra color and flavor.
