- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- Lemon slices for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Pour the crushed pineapple into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the pineapple.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice over the cake mix.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
- Garnish with lemon slices, if desired.
Notes
- You can use a different type of cake mix.
- For a tangier flavor, add more lemon juice.
- Serve warm or cold.
