- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1 can (21 ounces) lemon pie filling
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
- Add the milk and mix well.
- Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the lemon filling.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake mix.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can add a sprinkle of powdered sugar on top.
- Serve warm or cold.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
