Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 can (21 ounces) lemon pie filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spread the lemon pie filling evenly in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and melted butter. Mix until smooth.
  4. Add the milk and mix well.
  5. Sprinkle the cake mix evenly over the lemon filling.
  6. Pour the cream cheese mixture evenly over the cake mix.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
