- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is softened. Drain any excess grease.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Heat through.
- Unfold one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
- Pour meat mixture into the pie crust.
- Top with the second pie crust. Crimp edges to seal and cut slits in the top crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
- Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like peas or carrots to the meat mixture.
- For a crispier crust, brush the top with milk or melted butter before baking.
- Serve with a side salad or your favorite vegetables.
