Description

A delicious and easy pie made with ground beef and a savory filling, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and onion over medium heat until beef is browned and onion is softened. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper. Heat through.
  4. Unfold one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
  5. Pour meat mixture into the pie crust.
  6. Top with the second pie crust. Crimp edges to seal and cut slits in the top crust.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  8. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.
