- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (14.1 ounce) package refrigerated pie crusts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet. Drain any grease.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, milk, salt, and pepper.
- Place one pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate.
- Pour meat mixture into the crust.
- Top with the second pie crust. Crimp edges to seal. Cut slits in the top crust.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until crust is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
- Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can add other vegetables like carrots or peas to the filling.
- For a spicier pie, add a pinch of red pepper flakes.
- Serve with a side salad or steamed vegetables.
