Description

Make your own delicious homemade peanut butter cups. These are better than store-bought!


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 12 ounces chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  3. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using) in a microwave or double boiler.
  4. Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into each liner.
  5. Spoon peanut butter mixture on top of the chocolate.
  6. Cover with remaining melted chocolate.
  7. Refrigerate until set.

Notes

  • Use any type of chocolate you like.
  • Add a pinch of salt to the peanut butter mixture for extra flavor.
  • Store in the refrigerator.
