- 1.5 lbs ground turkey
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- For the Glaze:
- 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp orange juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, milk, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf in a baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, combine cranberries, brown sugar, and orange juice. Cook over medium heat until cranberries burst and the sauce thickens slightly.
- Pour the cranberry glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can substitute dried cranberries for fresh ones.
- For a spicier glaze, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg.
