Description

A quick and easy one-pan ground beef taco skillet recipe perfect for a weeknight Mexican-inspired dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 small flour tortillas


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in the taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until thickened.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese until melted.
  4. Warm the tortillas according to package directions.
  5. Serve the ground beef mixture in the warm tortillas.

  • For a spicier taco skillet, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a diced jalapeño with the taco seasoning.
