Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup hot honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar
  • Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)
  • Optional toppings: sesame seeds, green onions


Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a pan. Drain any excess fat.
  2. Add olive oil to the pan. Sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened.
  3. Add broccoli florets and cook until tender-crisp.
  4. Stir in the cooked ground beef.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together hot honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
  6. Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Simmer for a few minutes.
  7. Serve over cooked rice or quinoa.
  8. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
