- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup hot honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- Cooked rice or quinoa (for serving)
- Optional toppings: sesame seeds, green onions
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a pan. Drain any excess fat.
- Add olive oil to the pan. Sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened.
- Add broccoli florets and cook until tender-crisp.
- Stir in the cooked ground beef.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together hot honey, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
- Pour the sauce over the beef and vegetables. Simmer for a few minutes.
- Serve over cooked rice or quinoa.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions if desired.
Notes
- Adjust the amount of hot honey to your spice preference.
- You can substitute other vegetables like carrots or zucchini.
