Description

Easy no-bake Grinch Oreo Balls are a festive Christmas treat. They combine crushed Oreos with cream cheese, then are coated in green candy melts and decorated to look like the Grinch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 36 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup green candy melts
  • 1/4 cup red candy melts
  • Black edible marker

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix crushed Oreos and softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Chill the balls in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Melt the green candy melts according to package directions. Dip each Oreo ball into the melted green candy, coating completely. Return to the baking sheet.
  6. Melt the red candy melts.
  7. Once the green coating has set, use a toothpick to create a small dollop of red candy melt for the Grinch’s hat trim.
  8. Use the black edible marker to draw eyes and eyebrows on each Grinch Oreo ball.
  9. Allow the candy coating to harden completely before serving.

Notes

  • For best results, ensure the cream cheese is fully softened.
  • If the Oreo mixture is too sticky, you can add a few more crushed Oreos.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add a little more cream cheese.
  • You can make these a day in advance and store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
