Description

Crispy baked sweet potato wedges coated in garlic and Parmesan cheese. A simple and delicious side dish perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, scrubbed and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato wedges with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the wedges in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until tender and lightly browned.
  5. Remove from oven and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  6. Return to the oven for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.
