- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup dry white wine (optional)
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet.
- Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque.
- If using, pour in white wine and let it reduce for 1 minute.
- Stir in lemon juice.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust cooking time based on shrimp size.
- Don’t overcrowd the skillet. Cook shrimp in batches if needed.
- Serve over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
