- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add green beans and blanch for 2-3 minutes until bright green and tender-crisp.
- Drain green beans and immediately plunge into ice water to stop the cooking process. Drain again.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the blanched green beans to the skillet.
- Toss to coat in garlic butter.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately.

- For a richer flavor, use unsalted butter.
- Adjust garlic quantity to your preference.
