Delicious and easy garlic butter bread rolls perfect for any meal.

- 1 package active dry yeast (2 1/4 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup warm water (105-115°F)
- 1 1/2 cups milk, warmed
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
- In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water. Let stand for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
- In a large bowl, combine warmed milk, melted butter, and salt. Stir in the yeast mixture.
- Gradually add flour, mixing until a soft dough forms.
- Turn dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1-1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough and divide into 12-16 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll.
- Place rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic and chopped parsley.
- Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the garlic butter mixture.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter.
- These rolls can be made ahead and reheated.
