- 1 (4-5 pound) bone-in, skin-on turkey breast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C).
- Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels.
- Rub the turkey breast with olive oil.
- In a small bowl, mix together the salt, pepper, thyme, and rosemary.
- Sprinkle the spice mixture over the turkey breast, rubbing it in.
- Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan.
- Pour the chicken broth into the bottom of the pan.
- Roast for 1 hour 15 minutes to 1 hour 45 minutes, or until a meat thermometer inserted into the thickest part of the breast registers 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 10-15 minutes before carving and serving.
