Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Beat in egg and orange zest.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with orange juice.
- Gently fold in cranberries and walnuts (if using).
- Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar (optional) before serving.
