  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Powdered sugar for dusting


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small saucepan, combine chopped cranberries, granulated sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cranberries soften and the mixture thickens, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  5. Spread a thin layer of the cranberry mixture onto each triangle, leaving a small border.
  6. Roll up the dough tightly, starting from the wider end.
  7. Place the roll-ups on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with melted butter.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool completely. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
