Ingredients

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 dozen large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain off excess grease.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stir in the cooked sausage and 1 cup of the shredded cheese.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of cheese over the top.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  8. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
