Description

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup long-grain rice
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a 9×13 inch baking dish, combine rice, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, water, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the dish.
  4. Cover the dish with foil.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes.
  6. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the rice is cooked and the chicken is no longer pink.
  7. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
